Head of Software Development Training Programs

Part time position (25 hours/week); Remote work from home (WFH)

Wawiwa is seeking a highly-motivated Head of Software Development Training Programs, responsible for defining and designing program curricula to reskill and upskill Full-Stack Developers and Frontend Developers, developing hands-on exercises and projects, and preparing lesson plans. This position reports to the VP of Operations.

It offers its partners cutting-edge programs for the reskilling to tech jobs in high demand, e.g. full-stack developers, frontend developers, cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, DevOps specialists, UX/UI designers, product managers, and online marketing specialists. The company utilizes a proven blended training methodology, cutting-edge content, digital learning platforms, and strong industry relations, to deliver tech training programs that result in higher employability and graduate satisfaction.


  • Defining and designing program curricula, in the Full Stack and Front End domains, based on latest knowledge and industry needs
  • Developing lesson plans, training materials, hands-on exercises and projects for students to practice, in collaboration with company staff and external vendors
  • Training local trainers around the world in the delivery of the programs according to Wawiwa’s Job-Effective-Training (JET) Design™ methodology
  • Planning and orchestrating programs at our training centers worldwide – trainers, classes, dates, times, locations, materials
  • Managing and operating the program and its materials on the company’s Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Researching new training disciplines and vendors


  • Native or professional-level bilingual English and Hebrew speaker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Academic degree (BA/BS) or 2nd/3rd year undergraduate pursuing an academic degree in tech, education, or business; advanced degree – a plus
  • Experience in the field of training, including development of training – required
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience coding in many of these technologies: HTML, CSS, UX/UI, SaaS, JavaScript, Mean Stack tool, React-Redux, Angular, NodeJS, and SQL
  • Technology-savvy; easy with learning and using new web-based platforms (LMS, project management), and guiding others on their use of technology; willingness and ability to learn new stuff – required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; ability to work with people at all levels within an organization, up to C-suite leaders; demonstrate ability to collaborate with a distributed global team across multiple countries and cultures 
  • Driven, self-motivated, and hardworking individual with a growth mentality; self-starter and proactive nature – acts without being told what to do; brings new ideas to the table.
