    Dr. Bob Paxton\u00a0currently\u00a0most recently served\u00a0as Vice President of Education Solutions at ACE.\u00a0\u00a0In January 2026 moved to a part time position with ACE to afford more time to pursue other interests.\u00a0\u00a0He\u00a0earned his PhD at the University of Texas in Community College Leadership.\u00a0 He has served in all ranks within the Community College and University settings, including college President.\u00a0\u00a0He serves in numerous\u00a0advisory\u00a0roles for\u00a0colleges\u00a0and entities in the U.S., Russia, the UAE, South\u00a0America,\u00a0and\u00a0Canada, including commissioner for ABHES\u00a0 He maintains strong relations with in all sectors of Higher Education, especially community colleges.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Prior to\u00a0this,\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Paxton\u00a0served\u00a0as President of External Relations and Strategic Initiatives for National American University. In that role he worked with external constituents, oversaw online programming, worked with marketing, provided leadership to the graduate programs, and oversaw international relations. At NAU he worked created the Roueche Graduate Center and the Community College Leadership Program.\u00a0 He also assisted in the establishment of a National Community College Advisory Board and an International Industry Board.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Prior to his time at NAU\u00a0Dr. Paxton\u00a0served as President of Iowa Central Community College for over 13 years.\u00a0\u00a0During that time the college grew from 1,800 students to well over 7,000 students.\u00a0\u00a0Business and Industry training increased over 700% in 13 years.\u00a0 Created numerous partnerships to improve economic vitality and strong community relations,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to this, Dr. Paxton served as President of External Relations and Strategic Initiatives for National American University. In that role he worked with external constituents, oversaw online programming, worked with marketing, provided leadership to the graduate programs, and oversaw international relations. At NAU he worked created the Roueche Graduate Center and the Community College Leadership Program. He also assisted in the establishment of a National Community College Advisory Board and an International Industry Board. Prior to his time at NAU Dr. Paxton served as President of Iowa Central Community College for over 13 years. During that time the college grew from 1,800 students to well over 7,000 students. Business and Industry training increased over 700% in 13 years. Created numerous partnerships to improve economic vitality and strong community relations, Dr. Paxton also served in a variety of roles at both Cowley College and Colby Community College including Vice President of Instruction; Vice President of Student Services; Director of Admissions. He possesses a strong background in enrollment management; community relations and partnerships; and community college leadership. Dr. Paxton is and has been involved in a variety of community and organizational activities. He was recognized with the prestigious \u201cInternational Leadership Award\u201d by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) in 2000.
