Wawiwa and CEGICAP Partner to Reskill Peru to Tech

On February 18th, 2025, Wawiwa Tech signed a new partnership agreement with Centro Global de Investigación para la Capacitación (CEGICAP) to offer the Full-Stack Developer, Frontend Developer, and UX/UI Designer reskilling programs to individuals in Peru. In just 6 to 9 months, these programs will equip learners with the skills they need to become job-ready tech professionals. This partnership marks a significant step towards addressing Peru’s growing demand for tech talent and Wawiwa’s expansion in South America.

Partnership Signing Ceremony

Peru is experiencing a significant tech talent shortage, with 70% of employers struggling to find skilled professionals to meet industry demands. As the country undergoes rapid digital transformation, businesses are seeking qualified tech talent to drive innovation. However, the tech talent shortage remains a challenge, limiting economic growth and technological progress. Addressing this issue requires investment in practical, hands-on training programs that equip individuals with job-ready skills. By expanding access to tech education, Peru can empower its workforce and strengthen its position in the global digital economy.

Wawiwa Tech, a global leader in reskilling and upskilling people to tech and business jobs in high demand, offers its local partners, like CEGICAP, career-oriented tech training programs that incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and readiness.

CEGICAP, a leading higher education institution in Peru, is dedicated to strengthening the skills of professionals through high-quality, up-to-date training programs. More than academic education, CEGICAP focuses on continuous development, ensuring that students are prepared to stand out in the competitive job market.

At the signing ceremony, Víctor Hugo Ramos Cárdenas, CEO and Co-founder of CEGICAP, said:

"This partnership with Wawiwa Tech is not just an institutional agreement; it is the creation of a bridge to innovation, a commitment to educational excellence, and a concrete response to the growing demand for highly skilled professionals. Thanks to Wawiwa Tech’s experience and innovative methodology, we will be able to implement specialized programs designed to train professionals with skills that are highly sought after internationally."
