Wawiwa and De Kanel Partner to Upskill Chile’s Workforce

On March 13, 2025, Wawiwa Tech and De Kanel Consultores signed a partnership agreement to reskill Chile to tech through Wawiwa’s upskilling courses, such as Power BI and Generative AI for Marketing Professionals. This marks Wawiwa’s second partnership in Chile and 6th in Latin America.

Chile faces a significant tech skills shortage with an estimated deficit of at least 6,000 skilled tech professionals. To stay competitive, many companies are choosing to upskill their existing workforce – a faster and more cost-effective solution than recruiting new talent. Through this partnership with Wawiwa, De Kanel will help businesses across Chile to upskill their employees with practical skills – e.g. in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis – helping teams perform better and meet organizational needs.

Wawiwa Tech, a global leader in tech reskilling and upskilling, offers its local partners like De Kanel the ability to bring top-quality tech training courses to the local market.

De Kanel Consultores is a team of consultants with over 20 years of experience promoting the development of people and organizations, mostly through soft skills training that improve business results. This partnership expands De Kanel’s offering with tech training.

📊 Power BI Upskilling Course

Wawiwa’s Power BI course empowers professionals with the superpower of data visualization and business intelligence. This upskilling course focuses on practical skills in dashboards, data modeling, and actionable analytics, using real business scenarios. It’s ideal for business professionals and analysts looking to sharpen their decision-making skills and communicate insights with impact.

🤖 AI for Marketing Course

AI is transforming marketing—and Wawiwa is making sure marketers don’t get left behind. This course dives into how AI tools can help marketers in crafting strategies, launching campaigns, generating content, and analyzing marketing data. Participants gain hands-on experience with today’s most effective AI platforms, and learn to work faster and better.

Both courses are built with Wawiwa’s JET Design™ methodology, focusing on job-effectiveness, hands-on learning, and up-to-date industry relevance. The courses will be delivered by De Kanel in Spanish, making them accessible to local teams in Chile and ensuring effective learning.

Sergio De Kanel, Director and Executive Coach at De Kanel Consultores, said:

"At De Kanel Consultores, we’ve always been committed to helping teams grow through training. This new collaboration with Wawiwa strengthens our offering with practical, high-impact tech training courses that equip employees in Chile with the skills they need to succeed in the AI era."
