He boasts over two decades of expertise in marketing, strategy, and product management across both large enterprises and successful startups. Oded also advised Fortune 500 companies as a Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, and founded several companies as an entrepreneur.

Session 1 (4 hours) - Understanding AI and Getting Started as an HR Professional

  • What Is Generative AI and Why Does It Matter for HR
    Understand what AI and Generative AI are, and how AI can generate content such as text, images, videos, audio, and more. Explore why AI is becoming increasingly important in HR work.
  • How AI Is Changing HR Roles
    Explore which HR tasks are being transformed by AI and which areas remain uniquely human, such as culture, judgment, relationships, and difficult conversations. Understand how recruiting, L&D, HR business support, and people analytics are evolving as AI adoption grows.
  • The AI Tool Landscape
    Get introduced to leading AI tools HR professionals can use, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity. Learn what each tool is best suited for and how they can support different HR workflows and tasks.
  • Employee Data, Privacy, Security, and Responsible AI
    Learn how to work responsibly with employee and candidate data when using AI tools. Understand key do’s and don’ts, bias and fairness considerations, basic compliance principles, and why HR is one of the highest-stakes functions for responsible AI use.
  • Prompt Engineering Fundamentals for HR
    Learn what a prompt is and what makes a good prompt, including role, context, task, output format, and constraints. Explore HR-specific prompting patterns for more accurate and useful AI outputs.
  • First Practical Applications: What You Can Do Today
    Discover immediate and practical ways to use AI in your daily HR work, such as summarizing meetings and interview debriefs, turning notes into action items, drafting employee and manager communications, and extracting key insights from lengthy documents.
  • Hands-On Exercise: Each participant drafts five HR prompts, such as an interview summary, onboarding email, policy summary, manager communication, and job description opener. Test, compare, and refine prompts together as a group.

Session 2 (4 hours) - Using AI for Creating Everyday HR Documents and Communications

  • Writing and Refining Job Descriptions
    Use AI to draft, improve, and tailor job descriptions for different roles, seniority levels, and company cultures. Create multiple versions for different sourcing channels and learn what to review and correct before publishing.
  • Drafting Employee and Candidate Communications
    Use AI to write offer letters, rejection emails, onboarding plans, and HR policy updates. Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences, including candidates, new hires, managers, employees, and leadership. Learn how to provide context and refine AI-generated drafts to meet your company’s standards.
  • Summarizing HR Documents and Reports
    Use AI to extract key information such as obligations, timelines, and terms from employment contracts and vendor agreements. Summarize lengthy HR reports, survey results, and compliance documents while learning what to verify when working with sensitive HR content.
  • Working with HR Documents in Microsoft Copilot
    Use Microsoft Copilot in Word, Excel, and Outlook to draft, rewrite, and summarize HR content directly within your existing workflows. Understand the practical strengths and limitations of Copilot compared to standalone AI tools.
  • Extracting and Tracking Information from Web Sources
    Use AI to collect and organize HR-related information from websites, including job descriptions, salary benchmarking data, labor law updates, and benefits trend reports. Learn practical workflows for staying current without relying on manual research, including an introduction to Perplexity for HR research.
  • Creating HR Presentations with AI
    Turn HR data, compliance material, and internal updates into structured presentations using tools such as Gamma and Copilot. Learn how to transform bullet points and raw information into management-level presentations that support decision-making.
  • Hands-On Exercise
    Participants receive a hiring request from the business and use AI to draft a job description together with a one-slide management update covering the hiring need, compensation, and KPIs for the new position.

Session 3 (4 hours) - Using AI for Core HR Work - Talent, Learning, and People Insights

  • AI in the Recruiting Workflow
    Use AI to screen and summarize CVs at scale while understanding the implications for quality, bias, and fairness. Draft structured interview questions for specific roles and competency frameworks, generate interview scorecards and debrief summaries, and explore the use of image and video interpretation in candidate assessment. Learn what AI cannot do in hiring decisions and why human judgment remains essential.
  • L&D Content Creation with AI
    Use AI to generate training scripts, learning materials, and educational content more efficiently. Adapt content for different audiences, learning styles, and formats while reviewing AI-generated material for accuracy, relevance, and engagement.
  • Employee Feedback and Survey Analysis
    Use AI to draft surveys and analyze employee responses by identifying themes, patterns, and sentiment. Summarize large volumes of qualitative feedback into actionable insights and generate communication plans and action items based on survey findings.
  • People Data Reporting and HR Narratives
    Use AI to create narrative explanations for HR metrics such as attrition analysis, headcount changes, diversity data, and workforce trends. Turn tables and charts into management-ready commentary while adapting tone, structure, and level of detail for different audiences, including CHROs, boards, finance teams, and employees.

    Teams receive a set of CVs and use AI to identify the strongest candidates. Participants prepare a management report covering the top three candidates, their fit and potential risks, together with a personalized set of interview questions for each candidate.

Session 4 (4 hours) - Building Your HR AI Practice - Adapting and Staying Ahead

  • Mapping Your HR Workweek
    Map out the different tasks your HR role handles during a typical workweek or key HR periods such as performance review cycles, open enrollment, hiring surges, and L&D planning. Identify which tasks could benefit most from AI in terms of saving time, improving quality, and increasing efficiency.
  • Building Your Personal or Department HR Prompt Library
    Create a reusable and organized library of prompts and AI workflows for the 15-20 HR tasks with the highest impact. During this session, participants build their own practical prompt library, ready to use immediately in their daily workflow. Teams also share and discuss their most effective prompts with the group.
  • Your Personal or Department AI Action Plan
    Each group identifies 3-5 HR workflows they want to improve with AI in their organization over the coming month. Participants define the tools required, key stakeholders to involve, potential barriers and risks, mitigation strategies, and the KPIs that will be used to measure success.

Session 5 (4 hours) - Taste of Advanced Topics - What’s Next in HR AI

This session is a tasting of advanced topics – not a deep practical dive. The goal is to introduce what’s next, provide a clear overview, and spark interest in further learning.

  • Introduction to AI Agents
    Understand what AI agents are, how they differ from traditional chatbots, and how they are beginning to appear in recruiting, onboarding, and employee support workflows. Learn why HR professionals need to understand this shift – not to build AI agents themselves, but to work effectively alongside them.
  • AI Agents in HR
    Explore what AI agents in HR can already do and what capabilities are expected to emerge over the next 1-2 years. Learn how to think strategically about AI agents and their impact on HR workflows without needing technical expertise.
  • Building a Custom HR Assistant GPT
    Learn how to configure a personalized GPT with HR-specific context, knowledge, tone, and constraints. Explore how a custom AI assistant can align with your company’s job families, communication style, and HR policies through demos and practical discussions.
