Wawiwa and CEDEM Partner to Reskill Porto Alegre, Brazil, to Tech

On July 9th, 2025, Wawiwa Tech signed a new partnership agreement with CEDEM, a business consulting and education provider, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to reskill individuals with no prior background to Data Analysis, Digital Marketing, Full-Stack, and Frontend Development. This collaboration marks Wawiwa’s third partnership in Brazil, further expanding our mission to Reskill the World to Tech.

Partnership Signing Ceremony

Brazil’s growing tech sector is full of opportunity. While the country’s average annual salary stands at $8000 USD, tech professionals often earn more than double that amount.

Wawiwa Tech, a global leader in reskilling and upskilling people to tech and business jobs in high demand, offers its local partners, like CEDEM, career-oriented tech training programs that incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and readiness.

CEDEM has been a key player in business education and consultancy since 1994, helping companies, especially family businesses, implement effective governance and boost performance.

Volnei Garcia, Director of CEDEM, said:

“This partnership is set for success as it brings together CEDEM’s deep roots in business education with Wawiwa’s global expertise in tech reskilling. Together, we’re creating real opportunities for people to enter high-demand tech careers and for companies to access skilled talent.”

Eran Lasser, Founder and CEO of Wawiwa Tech, said:

“Recognizing Brazil’s potential, we’re partnering with CEDEM to bring several of our tech reskilling programs to train Data Analysts, Digital Marketing Specialists, Full-Stack and Frontend Developers. These programs are designed for individuals with no experience and prepare learners to become job-ready in just 6-9 months.”

Want to reskill your country to tech?

Partner with Wawiwa to offer tech training programs in less than 6 months!

Wawiwa bridges the tech skills gap by reskilling people for tech professions in high demand. There are millions of tech vacancies and not enough tech professionals with the relevant knowledge and skills to fill them. What the industry needs of employees is not taught in long academic degrees. Wawiwa helps partners around the world to reskill, and upskill people for tech jobs through local tech training centers or programs. The company utilizes a proven training methodology, cutting-edge content, digital platforms for learning and assessment, and strong industry relations, to deliver training programs that result in higher employability and graduate satisfaction. This, in turn, also creates a strong training brand and a sustainable business for Wawiwa’s partners.

If Google Hires People without a University Degree, All Employers Will

Once upon a time, a university degree was your ticket into top tech companies. Now, that signal is losing power. At Google, where you studied matters less than what you can actually do. This blog discusses how and why Google shifted toward skills-based hiring, what it reveals about the changing job market, and what it means for learners, professionals, and employers.
