On September 18th, 2023, Wawiwa Tech announced a new partnership with L’École du Digital, a new institution in Marrakesh dedicated to cultivate skills and inspire tech professionals in Morocco. This collaboration brings together the commitment and entrepreneurial drive of L’École du Digital with Wawiwa’s mission to Reskill the World to Tech, marking our first partnership to establish a new tech training center in Africa. Together, we embark on a journey that crosses borders and cultures to empower Morocco’s talent and shape future tech leaders.

Partnership Signing Ceremony

Wawiwa Tech, an education provider based in Israel, the StartUp Nation, is a global leader in reskilling and upskilling people to tech jobs in high demand. With a vision to reskill the world to tech, Wawiwa has successfully forged partnerships across 12 countries and 6 continents, including this current partnership in Africa. Our training methodology, cutting-edge programs, and strong industry connections equip our graduates with the required skills demanded by the tech industry, ensuring their readiness for the ever-evolving job market.

Nestled in the city of Marrakesh, L’École du Digital is a new tech training center that is set to emerge as a beacon of innovation and a viable source for tech talent to Morocco’s tech sector. Founded by experienced tech entrepreneurs, L’École du Digital brings a local perspective, understanding the unique needs of the Moroccan tech industry, with a goal to train people to tech jobs, addressing the local tech skills shortage.

L’École du Digital will initially offer Wawiwa’s tech programs in Software Development (Full-Stack Development and Frontend Development), Digital Marketing, and Product Management. According to Taoufik Aboudia, Founder of L’École du Digital, “over 34% of Morocco’s population, especially the younger generation, grapple with the need for resilient career paths to thrive in the global economy.” Wawiwa’s programs offer a new path and promise for these individuals. By equipping them with sought-after tech skills, L’École du Digital aims to make a big change and help the Moroccan nation to reach its tech goals.

Eran Lasser, Founder and CEO of Wawiwa Tech, said at the signing ceremony: “Through this partnership, we will leverage Wawiwa’s training methodology and advanced reskilling and upskilling programs, to strengthen Morocco’s tech ecosystem and digital talent, creating job-ready professionals that are able to get jobs and satisfy the industry needs.”

The collaboration between Wawiwa Tech and L’École du Digital reflects the deepening ties between Israel and Morocco and symbolizes a shared vision of blending tradition with innovation. With our combined talent and enthusiasm, we’re poised to bring transformative changes to the tech education in Morocco.
