Sales Development Representative

Part time position (20 hours a week); Remote work from home (WFH)

Wawiwa is looking for a high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to provide pre-sales support. This role will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and related inquiries, as well as engaging other prospects in the marketing and sales funnel. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.

Wawiwa Tech bridges the tech skills gap by reskilling people for tech professions in high demand. Wawiwa is a tech education provider from Israel, the Startup Nation, which establishes local tech training centers with partners around the world. It offers its partners cutting-edge programs for the reskilling to tech jobs in high demand, e.g. full-stack developers, frontend developers, cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, DevOps specialists, UX/UI designers, product managers and online marketing specialists. The company utilizes a proven blended  training methodology, cutting-edge content, digital learning platforms, and strong industry relations, to deliver tech training programs that result in higher employability and graduate satisfaction. Requirements

  • Native English speaker
  • Academic degree (BA/BS), studying towards an Academic degree, or other relevant experience
  • Strong and professional communication skills — written, verbal, presentation
  • Capability of understanding general business concepts, the company’s offering, qualification parameters, and customer pain points
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving goals
  • Drive, grit, and team orientation: strong desire to generate value and deals
  • Tech-savviness and ability to work with CRM platforms, Office 365, and Google Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed global team across multiple countries and cultures
  • Self-starter and proactive nature – acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the table.
  • Demonstrated business development success – a plus
  • Background in education, tech training or EdTech businesses – a plus
